About Pacing House

Pacing House is the video post-production studio of editor Bishal Nneupane, working remotely from Pokhara, Nepal. I edit long-form YouTube videos, Shorts, Reels and TikToks, video podcasts and clips for creators and brands in the US, UK, Australia, India and Nepal. It is one editor, not an agency: the person who cuts your test edit edits every video after it.

Who I am

I'm Bishal Nneupane, a video editor based in Pokhara, Nepal. Pacing House is the name I edit under. The studio is solo-led, so the site speaks in the first person: there is no account manager between you and the timeline.

My editing work centres on YouTube retention pacing, 9:16 vertical shorts and clean timeline assembly. I also handle sound design, motion graphics and colour grading, including LOG footage graded to Rec.709.

Outside editing, I work in agricultural research, focused on precision agriculture and remote sensing. That work lives on my personal site. This site is only about video.

How I work

Tools

DaVinci Resolve end to end

DaVinci Resolve Studio for the cut, grade and delivery, with Fusion for motion and kinetic captions and Fairlight for dialogue and sound design. After Effects comes in when a shot needs motion graphics.

Review

Notes on the frame

Story and pacing are locked in the first cut before any polish. Notes come back as timecoded Frame.io comments, and day-to-day messages go through email, WhatsApp or a shared Slack channel, all in English.

Files

Your storage, your project

Footage arrives through Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io. Delivery can include a 4K master, thumbnail grabs and the Resolve project, where third-party licences allow transfer.

Trust

NDA and invoice

I can review your NDA before footage is shared. Work is invoiced, and payment method and currency are confirmed in the quote.

UTC+5:45

Overlap with your day

Nepal runs on UTC+5:45. I schedule calls in US, UK and Australian working hours, and replies come within one business day.

Why one editor rather than an agency

The upside is continuity. The person who cuts your test edit is the person who edits every video after it, so your pacing preferences, brand assets and notes don't get handed between people.

The trade-offs are real. One editor has fixed capacity, so larger projects get a confirmed schedule based on runtime, footage volume and scope rather than an open-ended promise. Retainers have defined footage and revision limits, and unused monthly capacity does not roll over. Filming, thumbnails, social posting, custom animation and multilingual transcription are not part of the standard packages and are quoted separately.

If you publish at a volume that needs several editors at once, an agency may fit better. The freelance video editor vs agency guide compares the models.
